Next week Bollywood invades my hometown; Toronto with the International Indian Film Academy awards, or IIFA!
I am so thrilled to be there for all the excitement! It is the first time this enormous event is being held in North America!
Bollywood is a huge industry, with a massive worldwide appeal. It’s The South Asian Equivilant to the Oscars!
I will be covering some of the IIFA Buzz events, and also participating in a special Bollywood themed Wedding show at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
The Royal York is one of the Official Host Hotels and is planning a very busy week of events.
The hotel’s first South Asian Wedding Show will be held in The Ballroom on Wednesday, June 22 from 12:00 p.m. through to 8:00 p.m.
So if your in the area do drop in and say hello, and of course for some Bollywood star gazing!
